On January 3rd Isaac turned 5! I have to say, it's pretty weird having a 5 year-old...I'd like to think I'm not old enough to have a 5 year-old at least. But this boy just keeps growing and growing! We had family over as well as our friends, the Hogges and their 3 boys over for a low-key party. Isaac felt super special and loved every minute of being the center of attention for the night. That same day in the morning, he got to give his first talk in Primary. Abby also had her first day in Primary so it was a very eventful Sunday!Our family got a Wii for Christmas and Isaac is ADDICTED. And I have to say, he is pretty good for a kid. He'll take any opponents, so if you're up for a challenge on MarioKart, give us a ring!
So needless to say, his party was filled with lots of Wii playing! I love my boy so much, he has such a tender heart and is wise beyond his years. It is a pleasure to watch him learn things everyday, and watch him teach me, his mom, a thing or two about life. Being a mom is great, but having amazing kids makes it incredible! We love you Isaac!

and what a fun day! a 5 year old! crazy...we're about to have one in our house too.
