A princess clown.

If you look closely at this picture, you will notice a "lipstick ring" all around this girl's mouth. Abby has become absolutely fascinated with makeup. Anytime I am putting makeup on, she will come into my room and start digging in. She has her own play makeup too and she just loves playing with that!

Unfortunately, Abby has yet to master the skill of putting on makeup. But I need to give her some credit, I have yet to master the skill as well :) Lipstick is her favorite thing and she often will come up to me with pink all over the bottom part of her face, well into her chin, and say "mommy, do I look pretty??" And of course I always answer "Yes Abby!"

Last week was pretty bad, she had lipstick all over her face pretty much every day. A couple of days I even had to rub lipstick off of her teeth! Well one morning she decided to ask daddy if she looked pretty, and Richie said "Abby, you look like a princess clown." We just giggled because at first she didn't get it, but then she understood what we meant. She's backed off the lipstick a little bit, but I'm sure we'll be seeing many more princess clown faces around here. Oh the joys of being a girl!
