May was a busy month, hence the lack of posts. But I am here to catch up so make sure you scroll down because I'm not sure how many posts it will take to be up to date!
Isaac had his kindergarten orientation in the beginning of May. My boy is growing up! I'm so happy he loves school and I know come September he will have a lot of fun there.
We also went to the carnival I frequented while growing up. We've been taking the kids pretty much every year because we always happen to be here around that time even when we're not living here. The LOVE it!
Abby had her dance pictures taken and I was able to sneak some with my camera. Can I just say that I didn't really know what I was signing up for when I decided to put her in dance. Not only is everything super expensive, but I have get her to sit still for about 30 minutes so I can do her hair and make-up for her pictures, dress rehearsal, and recital. That is 3 different times! And let's just say she is not the most cooperative little girl...well we've got 1 time down, 2 more to go! She does look pretty cute though!
On Memorial Day we had to say goodbye to our good friends the Hogge's. Lexie and I have only been friends for about a year but I feel like I've known her my whole life. We are so alike and get along so well. There were lots of tears shed that day while we said goodbye and it was not easy! Lexie's husband Rob graduated from NYU and is now Dr. Hogge (Congrats Rob). They are moving to Austin, TX and Rob is going to be a dentist out there. And Lexie swears we are moving to Texas too so I guess I shouldn't be so sad! Love you Lex!!
We had a goodbye party for them at the Whitehead's and as a goodbye present to Lexie, I rode on the tube I blogged about last time. It was sooo much fun and I only fell off once! What a rush that is, I totally want to do it again!!
My friend So-Young painted some of the kids faces...She is so good at everything she does, this was only her second time doing face painting! She is awesome!
