lots of pictures!

It is a sad day when you realize you haven't posted any pictures of your kids for so long that you have become totally unfamiliar with blogger. These pictures were supposed to be in some kind of sequence but it didn't work out that way. I was going to give it another try but my two little ones here reminded me of why I never post pictures in the first place :) I don't know about everyone else, but I feel so guilty when I don't take pictures of my kids. As it is, I am already way behind the other moms who scrapbook about every new word their kids say. But I've always tried to take lots of pictures and my plan is to one day scrapbook away, or if I'm rich enough, to pay someone to scapbook away! I've been a slacker lately with the move so I have to admit that all these pictures are from the 4th of July till now, horrible I know.
We've had a lot of fun these past few weeks. My sister visited us for a few weeks and then my mom came for a week to pick her up. I showed them around a little bit and then we hit the beach for a couple of days. I have always LOVED the beach, but let me tell you, when the ocean water is as warm as it is here, I REALLY LOVE the beach. I am so excited about soon only living six miles from this beautiful place.
We also visited the children's museum in Wilmington which is about an hour from where we're living now. The kids had a lot of fun. We've been having a lot of storms lately, especially in the evening and the kids love to look out the window to see the lightning. Everyone here says that we've gotten more rain in the past few weeks than we have in the last 2 years. It figures that we move from Oregon to get away from the rain and this happens! It's ok though because at least the rains makes it cool off a little...Hope you enjoy the pics!

ohhhh, I just love all these pictures and the updates! What a great time you've been having! I bet you are just loving being closer (at least on the same coast) as your family! :) I can't believe you are 6 miles from the beach! That sounds fantastic!
