Easter and Small Miracles

Love this pic! Abby thought the plastic egg was breakfast!
I guess the blue plastic egg turned Abby's lips blue...

Egg Hunt

We had a fabulous Easter Sunday at church, our first Sunday back in a month (see previous post). And the best part was that both of our kids sat through ALL of Sacrament...talk about a small miracle! It was wonderful!
Kristen and Reid Mason and their kids joined us for Easter dinner and we had a great time with them. The kids had fun playing together and watching Thomas while we chatted. They really liked sitting on Isaac and Abby's little couch, all crammed together. It was so cute!
Isaac's nursery leader, Sister Cayton, made a cute little Easter story visual aid and gave them to each kid today. It consisted of an egg carton with 12 plastic eggs, each containing a piece of the Easter story which was written on the side of the carton. We read it to Isaac before bed and are looking forward to reading it to him every Easter. I think it will definitely become an Easter tradition!
We saw the Easter bunny yesterday and colored some eggs. We are very last minute people so we did all the Easter stuff pretty much on one day. Then this morning dad set up an egg hunt for Isaac and Abby.
We had a very fun holiday and hope all of you did as well. What a great time to reflect on how much our Savior has done for us. Happy Easter!

the kids look SO adorable in their Easter outfits! and that easter lesson sounds REALLY amazing! I was wondering if maybe you could share what the strips of paper said (email or blog) because I think that sounds like such a neat thing to have! I'd love to make one too!
